How to turn one video into multiple posts

Find distinct lessons in a transcript and preserve their original context.

Work from an accurate transcript

Use a recording you own or have permission to adapt. Correct names, numbers, and technical terms in the transcript. Add timestamps if you plan to cut clips. Misheard words become misleading captions when nobody checks them.

Find three independent lessons

Choose ideas that can stand alone: a practical step, a common mistake, and a worked example. Ask an assistant to identify candidate passages with supporting source text. Avoid three clips that repeat the same conclusion.

Keep the qualification attached

Do not cut away words such as “in this example” or “for this plan” if they limit a claim. Include enough context for someone who has not watched the original. Write a new opening only when it accurately represents the clip.

Finish each format separately

Review aspect ratio, subtitles, pacing, and the call to action. For a text post, explain the lesson without requiring the video. Link to the original where useful, and keep a record of which source passage each adaptation came from.

Try it on your own work

Use a two-minute original tutorial to produce one clip, one checklist, and one text explanation.
